Ruby Firecat Leatherworks began in Tucson, Arizona in 1972. The name Ruby Firecat came from a Halloween costume which included a wig and scarves in bright colors and the desert night. The name stuck and has appeared in juried craft shows, museum collections, including the Smithsonian, and even the White House Christmas Tree of President and Mrs.Clinton.

After these many years, all the Firecats are created in the desert studio, each one a one of a kind inspiration, inside and out.
